Hey everyone!
I spent about 6 hours total in the same area running around West Sarutabaruta trying to find Penyununc. He drops a RARE/EX Pilgrim's Wand, that gives an astounding +2MP per tick while healing. That's great, especially at lower levels (because it is level 10!) for casters. less downtime for the white mages and s ummoners and whatnot, you know?
So anyway, i was camping him for a while, then a friend (/anon BLM, never bothered to ask his level), stopped by to help, so we farmed up some crawlers while we were at it.
i went a little southwest of the outpost, and made this huge path that went northeast, followed the mountain range back through I-5 and H-5 until it got north of the outpost, and circled all around. I saw some maps on allakhazam and speakeasy.org (i'm using their modded maps on my computer, it's pretty handy), but im not sure this is the correct area.
Anyway, is this NM still live in FFXI? I was thinking of getting that and then killing the one in tahrongi canyon for the Fasting Ring (+10MP +1 STR....like a mini-astral ^^).
So if someone knows if these NM's are still in existance, please post. I could use the help. Nobody else was camping the area either, so i was fairly certain that he would spawn (1-2 hour spawn times from what everyone says), but i never once saw him...

Pandamation), while i spoke to the BLU via tells (he/she was japanese), and eventually the BLU said "its here!" but i thought it was a joke...lo and behold it was....and i got first claim ^^ Took forever, but i finally got it.
